Assuaging their guilt
Giving just enough of their
Left over gild

They make public gestures
Without any care
And live lavish lives
Compassionately bare

The low ones are hungry
They cry in the night
But your TV’s and iPods
Drown out their plight

One day they will rise up
And ain’t this the bitch
Satisfy hunger
By eating the rich.
